In addition to the antique sale, a bicycle race, barbecue cook-off and the Holiday Band will be featured June 20. On June 21, vendors of art, crafts, jewelry, glass, wood, beading and food events will line the historic Courthouse Square. Live outdoor entertainment includes performances by The Embers, Legends, and Craig Woodard featuring beach and dance music. A golf tournament, 5K run, antique car show, beer and wine garden and activities for children round out the Blueberry Festival events."

Since 2002, the job of protecting the town's beloved oak trees has gone undone.
But this month the town will plant seven new members on the board.
"The town realized we can't neglect our trees anymore," said Mayor Pete Cowan. "The trees around town, especially the big oaks in the Courthouse Square, are a part of the town's charm so we've got to protect them."
